Arrive in Kisoro and settle into your lodge with panoramic views of volcanoes or Lake Mutanda. In the afternoon, visit a local cultural center to experience traditional life, music, and dance of the Bakiga people. End the day with a delicious local dinner and stories around a campfire.

After an early breakfast, transfer to Bwindi or Mgahinga National Park for a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trek. Accompanied by expert rangers, you’ll hike through dense forest in search of a gorilla family. When found, you’ll spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Return to your lodge to relax and reflect on this unforgettable encounter.

On your final day, take on the challenge of a Virunga volcano. Hike Mt. Gahinga for a moderate trek, or Mt. Sabinyo for a more adventurous climb — with each summit offering incredible views over Uganda, Rwanda, and the DRC. After your descent, return to Kisoro for lunch and your onward journey.
