Who We Are!

We are a tour and travel company based in Kisoro south western Uganda – 520 Km away from the capital Kampala.
We offer both customized and tailor made safaris in Uganda and Rwanda ranging from gorilla trekking , Batwa trail, Golden monkey trekking, Volcano hiking (Sabyinyo 3669M, Muhabura 4127M, Mgahinga 3474M),Airport transfers, and hotel bookings and reservations.
Our company name was derived from Nyakagezi group of Gorillas of Mgahinga which has 9 silver backs.

  • I did a gorilla-trekking tour in 2019 and had the pleasure of meeting Emmanuel. I did plenty of research beforehand, and as a woman traveling on my own, it was especially important that I choose a reputable tour company. I felt very safe with him as my driver, guide, and translator. He was professional, knowledgeable, conscientious, and punctual. It was a long, but pleasant drive from Kigali to Lake Mutanda. The vehicle was a newer model, spotlessly clean, with air conditioning. Emmanuel is a very safe and skilled driver. Gorilla trekking was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and he helped ensure that it all went smoothly. I cannot recommend Nyakagezi highly enough.
